Angela Terga is the visionary behind Conscious Arts Media Productions, founded in 2024. Her company, TAT Productions, was created in 2012 when she produced the film Spyderwoman (Hybrid).

 

After more than 22 years as a certified teacher, she embraced her secret dream of writing stories, publishing and adapting them into screenplays, and bringing them to life on screen.

 

Angela's journey began in 2013 with the premiere of "Spyderwoman," a feature film based on her novel "Spiderwoman Taharai, an Amazon Legend." Her work aims to foster a deeper understanding of compassion and peace.

 

Angela then founded CAMP, a nonprofit organization to support conscious artists across disciplines through their artwork. Her dedication to storytelling and education continues to inspire and impact culture and society.

CAMP fosters creativity as the catalyst to human evolution through the arts in a conscious way, intentionally working out trauma, paranoia, and unfulfilled desires.

Teresita A. Terga is an immigrant, educator, storyteller, and conscious arts advocate whose life and work reflect a deep commitment to healing, multicultural understanding, and human evolution through creativity. A refugee to the United States in 1970, Terga built her life around education, perseverance, and the transformative power of the arts.

 

Education was her way to explore her creativity through two master’s degrees. She has dedicated much of her professional life to teaching at the primary, intermediate, and finally, college levels. Training in Literacy, Language Arts, Writing Composition, English, and Spanish Language, developed her own creativity, and helped her evolve her understanding of life.

 

Throughout her teaching career, she worked with students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, both in rural and urban settings. Encouraging literacy, self-expression, critical thinking, and empathy through storytelling and communication for 22 years, she was launched into the realm of filmmaking and authorship.

 

Terga is also a survivor. Having endured trauma while growing up between Cuba, the USA, and Venezuela, she understands, firsthand, the emotional wounds and behavioral consequences that victims suffer silently throughout their lives. Yet rather than surrendering to bitterness or hopelessness, she turned toward creativity, education, and conscious self-development as pathways to healing, expression, and business entrepreneurship.

Unable to continue working as a teacher due to double hip replacements, the lifelong advocate of the arts, Angela Terga, turned to her lifelong passion for storytelling transformed suffering into awareness, and cultivated deeper compassion for cultures and generations. Her work explores themes of peace, consciousness, social healing, multicultural identity, trauma recovery, and the future evolution of humanity through empathy and creative expression. Her literary work is characterized by magical realism.
