Art is more than mere entertainment or aesthetic appreciation; it is a profound force that shapes our consciousness. It expands our perception, evokes emotions, fosters reflection, and empowers us to transform ourselves and society. As we engage with art, we tap into a realm that transcends the mundane, connecting us with the depth and beauty of the human experience. So let us embrace art in all its forms, for it has the power to enrich our lives, broaden our horizons, and our consciousness to new possibilities. Bianca Frolich
The power of art on the mind: why being creative is so important

Art is a universal language through which we can transmit our emotions and transcend all the barriers imposed by culture and language in society. Not only is Art visual but also kinesthetic (dance), auditory (music) and tactile (playing an instrument)(making pottery)(the act of painting and drawing)(Storytelling)(Acting)(singing) Art changes our lives and makes us human. Arts helps us express our feeling and communicate the depths of our imagination. We discover more about ourselves and the world around us. It is a doorway to empathy and understanding.

Art can reduce stress, increase self-esteem, and helps us express our emotions in a safe way, allowing us to make a deeper connection with ourselves and the world. Art Therapy is one of the most popular ways to treat mental health concerns in individuals of all ages.

Literature, or Writing, is a form of art that involves our whole being as the writer communicates ideas and experiences to readers. Filmmaking includes several art forms in its production and is one of the most popular forms of art in our civilization having the power to change our mind, learn something new, and see ourselves in a different light in our Literature and film mold society as it interacts with our consciousness.

Authors, Magsamen and Ross offer compelling research that shows how engaging in an art project for as little as forty-five minutes reduces the stress hormone cortisol, no matter your skill level, and just one art experience per month can extend your life by ten years. Playing music builds cognitive skills and enhances learning; the vibrations of a tuning fork create sound waves to counteract stress; virtual reality can provide cutting-edge therapeutic benefit; and interactive exhibits dissolve the boundaries between art and viewers, engaging all of our senses. Visiting museums helps us cope with loneliness, dementia, and many other physical and mental health concerns."

First the author researched the principles of the new sciences with regard to how shifts in consciousness are understood to happen. She then applied the concepts to herself as she immersed in a program of fine arts studying acting for film and television. Using an organic research design which explicitly engaged spirit in the process, she explored shifts in her own consciousness as well as how the performing arts act as a transformative tool for others. Devoted to a path of assisting the shift in consciousness to a worldview which honors spirit, the researcher explores and describes her lived experiencing of the topic with the intention of inspiring transformative changes of heart in her readers.

demonstrates that art is not only all around you, but also relevant to you. Gorgeous images pull you in, and the authors' conversational writing style keeps you engaged, making it easy for you to both understand and enjoy reading the material. "Timeless Links" at the beginning of each chapter explore the themes that have inspired artists for centuries, creating links across space and time. These links open connections between the artists and art of different periods and cultures throughout the book, and "Art News" boxes present real events that connect art to your everyday life.

Art is a spiritual path—not a religion, but a practice that helps us knit together the ideals and convictions that guide our lives. Creating art can be prayer, ritual, and remembrance of the Divine. And the sharing of this creativity with others in small groups can serve as sanctuary, asylum, ashram, therapy group, think tank, and village square. Pat Allen has developed a reliable guide for walking the path of art through a series of simple practices that combine drawing, painting, and sculpture with journal writing. Designed for readers at any level of artistic experience, the book shows how to:

If you want to grow as a human being in universal consciousness put some art into your psyche, your hands, your eyes, your ears, and body. Be all that you are and are meant to be through the power of art. For all creation is art expressed. Creativity is what solves problems; therefore artists are problem solvers to begin with, and we are artists whether we see ourselves as one or not.

As a teacher in a past life, I discovered the power of art and creativity is such that students are able to learn much faster and grander when their own creative and imaginative touch is included in the ideas and tasks inspired to induce survival skills.

When we learn our own way we adopt much faster. That's part of what learning involves, our consciousness.

As a life-long learner I find that the more I read and listen to artists old and new the greater my understanding of where we are in history and where we are going as a society.

Having realized the power of Art in our consciousness, then building a better world involves art, for sure. Artists then have our world in their hands. Lets help artists be all they can be and create a greater awareness of the power of Art to accomplish peace in the world.
